<P>刺刀可做白刃战用。铲子是一战的老式样，但从35年后以焊接代替老式的铆接工艺，白刃战中铲子可作斧头用。手拿40型热带帽，每边2个透气孔。</P>

德国山地兵40型制服</P>
<P>佩36型肩章（军士长），兵种色暗绿。
身份牌为德军特有的单个椭圆形，美军为2个。
单个“雪绒花”佩于山地帽/军帽左侧和大檐帽的鹰徽与国徽之间。
刺绣的有橡叶环“雪绒花”佩于野战服右臂袖根约16厘米处，按底色配用各型野战服：
墨绿-35/36型，田野灰-40~43型，老鼠灰-44型，黑色-SS山地野战服全型。
窄长的褐色边肩章配用茶色防风夹克，黄边田野灰底肩章为40、42、43型野战服（侦察兵）用。</P>

<P>31型山地包囊，35型钢盔，A框型（A frame）编织战斗包，中期型狭盖水壶和31型饭盒（早期，铝制）。</P>
